ISLAMABAD – On Thursday, Commander Bahrain National Guard, General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa, met with Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, at Air Headquarters and praised the Pakistan Air Force’s (PAF) exceptional professionalism and remarkable progress.
During the meeting, various areas of shared interest were discussed in order to strengthen government-to-government cooperation in the realm of emerging technologies, with a focus on drone technology, as well as collaboration in the Cyber and Networking domains, according to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) news release.
The Air Chief emphasized the two countries’ close brotherly relationship. The Commander of the Bahrain National Guard also visited PAF Cyber Command and was briefed on the Pakistan Air Force’s operational capabilities.
The visiting dignitary expressed deep interest in PAF’s progress in the Cyber domain and stated that he intends to send a specialist team to PAF to analyze and rectify any current deficiencies in the Bahrain Armed Forces’ emerging technologies architecture.
The Air Chief promised the Commander of the Bahrain National Guard of the PAF’s complete cooperation and pledged full support for working together to strengthen the Bahrain Armed Forces’ technological foundation.
