RAWALPINI – The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), service chiefs, and Pakistani armed forces have reaffirmed their support for the intrepid and tenacious people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
“On the occasion of Youm-e-Istehsal, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, service chiefs, and the Pakistan armed forces reiterate their unwavering support for the brave and tenacious people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). “We unequivocally support their legitimate and long-standing struggle for the inalienable right to self-determination,” an Inter-Services Public Relations news statement stated.
The Indian security forces’ flagrant violations of international law, including as the ongoing draconian military lockdown, illegal measures to change the demographic structure of the occupied region, and chronic human rights crimes, are extremely repugnant.
These illegal measures, combined with the Indian government’s aggressive language and hostile posture, exacerbate the security and humanitarian crises in occupied Kashmir, posing an ongoing threat to regional stability.
It is axiomatic that long-term peace and stability in the region are dependent on resolving the long-standing Kashmir problem in accordance with United Nations resolutions and the Kashmiri people’s wishes.
The Pakistani armed forces pay respect to the IIOJK martyrs for their exceptional sacrifices and reiterate their steadfast commitment to aid the Kashmiri people in their just struggle against oppression and tyranny on political, moral, and humanitarian grounds.
