Anil Kapoor’s Bigg Boss OTT 3 attracts more views than Salman Khan hosted previous season

Anil Kapoor took over as host of Bigg Boss OTT for the third season this year, replacing Salman Khan.

Anil Kapoor made his digital hosting debut with the third season of Bigg Boss OTT, taking over from actor Salman Khan. According to the Ormax survey, the audience has accepted Anil as host, with the third season getting more viewers than Bigg Boss OTT 2. The show premiered on June 21. JioCinema’s Bigg Boss OTT 3 topped the list of the most popular Indian unscripted shows in the first half of 2024. Within three weeks, the third season had more than 17 million viewers.

Salman is currently preparing for his new film, Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, which is one of the reasons he did not host the third season of Bigg Boss OTT.

The reality show premiered on JioCinema on June 21. The show stars Ranvir Shorey, Lovekesh Kataria, Sana Sultan, Sana Makbul, Sai Ketan Rao, Shivani Kumari, Vishal Pandey, Naezy, Armaan Malik, and Kritika Malik.

Aside from hosting Bigg Boss OTT 3, Anil is preparing for his next project, Subedaar, which marks his first collaboration with filmmaker Suresh Triveni. The actor has already started preparing for the project. Aside from that, he is said to be a member of the YRF Spy Universe and will appear in War 2, Alpha, and Pathaan 2. He is projected to be the leader of R&AW (Research and Operations Wing).
