Tragic News Is Delivered To King Charles
As thousands of climate protestors prepare to storm the gardens of the monarch’s Windsor Castle next week, King Charles III appears to be in trouble.
The 75-year-old has been invited to stand outside the royal residence with activists for Extinction Rebellion (XR).
According to XR, their protest is directed at the system that upholds the “obscene profits of oil and gas companies,” not at any specific person.
“Windsor Castle has been selected as a symbol of an inefficient and unfair system, where our message will be effectively received. According to Catherine Bartlett of Extinction Rebellion UK, who spoke to Euro News, “the general election has neither addressed the urgent action needed to tackle the climate and nature emergency nor fixed our broken system.”
The organization, in a statement, stated: “His Majesty and all people of good hearts and good conscience are invited to join us for three days of beauty, community, action and democracy.”
They said that volunteers would be present to assist in monitoring the event and ensuring everyone’s safety, and that the estate had approved of the nonviolent protests. The campaigners will also have access to food, drink, restrooms, and tents.
The King has always been an outspoken supporter of climate change and has fought for environmental causes. He has devoted years to promoting organic farming, conservation, and other environmental causes.
