Peshawar – On Saturday, the Peshawar High Court (PHC) received a letter from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration requesting the formation of a judicial committee to probe the 9 May violence in the country.
The KP Advocate General has written to the Peshawar High Court, demanding that the Chief Justice convene a judicial panel and appoint a judge to investigate the May 9 incident.
On June 27, the KP government approved the judicial commission, and on May 9, the KP advocate general wrote to the Peshawar High Court requesting that the judicial commission be established.
It is worth noting that on May 9, 2023, the PTI held protest marches around the country following the arrest of its founder, Imran Khan, which turned violent.
