On the first Monday, the Marvel film earned barely ₹7 crore at the Indian box office. This was a significant decrease from their Sunday revenues of ₹22.30 crore. The superhero film’s second day collection of ₹22.65 crore was a tiny increase from its opening day collection of ₹21 crore, despite a slight reduction from Saturday’s collection. Deadpool and Wolverine have grossed ₹73.65 crore in India.

Deadpool & Wolverine grossed $211.4 million in the United States and Canada this weekend, according to Comscore Inc., making it the year’s highest domestic launch.
The film also had the best-ever opening for an R-rated film, grossing more than twice as much as Joker during its first weekend. Joker went on to become the highest-grossing R-rated film in history, earning more over $1 billion at the box office upon its release in 2019.
Deadpool & Wolverine is the third installment in the Deadpool franchise, with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman reprising their roles as the foul-mouthed superhero and X-Men mutant. Disney acquired the characters’ film and television rights in 2019 as part of its $71.3 billion acquisition of 21st Century Fox, and considers them, along with Avatar, to be among the most essential intellectual property acquired as part of the transaction.
The success of Deadpool and Wolverine reenergizes the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a collection of 34 interrelated films that create the most lucrative movie franchise in Hollywood history, grossing more than $30 billion at the box office. After overburdening fans with a high frequency of films, the superhero genre has underperformed in recent years, with releases such as Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and The Marvels, as well as DC’s The Flash and Shazam!. Fury of the Gods all failed to recoup their production costs.
Deadpool & Wolverine accelerates a turnaround at Disney’s film division, which has not made a profit since April 2022. The picture grossed $444.1 million worldwide, according to Disney.
