RAWALPINI – Sheikh Rashid, chairman of the Awami Muslim League and a former federal minister, stated on Thursday that the country’s political environment was on the verge of annihilation.
Speaking to the media after appearing in court in a case, he expressed concern over the public problem. He claimed that high electricity prices and inflation forced the population to take to the streets, and that the government was to blame for the uproar.
He also underlined the PTI’s political victimisation, claiming that it was denied an electoral emblem. “Efforts are now being made to ban the PTI,” he informed us.
All of these injustices would not hurt the PTI, but the government would eventually pay the price, he said.
He blasted the administration, claiming that their actions would benefit PTI founder Imran Khan. He stated that politics was on its way to destruction and that everything would be obvious by August 31st.
He reiterated that Lal Haveli was around three marlas and his own property. He claimed he was being evicted from his home, and 19 dwellings had been built there.
He stated that Lal Haveli’s case was opened twice due to Lahore High Court decisions.
