Avneet Kaur made her debut at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, where she and Shantanu Maheshwari unveiled the first look at Omung Kumar’s Love In Vietnam.
Avneet Kaur made a splash in a navy blue outfit during her debut at the Cannes Film Festival, which ended last month. The actor is now responding to the negative reaction to her appearance at the festival, where many questioned her credibility and wondered what she was doing there. Avneet told News18 that she doesn’t understand why ‘there is so much negativity without any reason.’ (Also read: Avneet Kaur debuts at Cannes Film Festival and wins fans’ hearts by touching the ground during her red carpet appearance.)
What Avneet said.
During a recent conversation, Avneet stated, “It was the biggest news, and everyone should be proud of it.” If Taha Shah or anyone else has gone there, that’s fantastic. People should be happy about it. I believe he has gone for his film, as have I. I went to release my poster. People ask me, “Yeh kyun chali gayi waha?” Iska, kya jana bana? “Why did she go there?” What was the need? In contrast, they should be happy. I’m not sure why there is so much negativity without any reason. Why are you spreading that in the comments section?”
‘You could at least say something positive.’
She went on to say that instead of criticizing those who represent the nation, the audience should show them support. “You could at least say something positive about that person and brighten their day, but they want to do everything! I do not understand why they do this. I just feel like this year has been particularly significant for India in terms of representing the country on such a large global stage. So, why not be happy for us? Nancy (Tyagi) has done extremely well. She was all over the net. “We should all support one another.”
Avneet wore a navy blue outfit with a long train and blue heels. She also touched the ground of the red carpet and then her forehead, a traditional Indian gesture of respect. She smiled and waved while posing for the camera. Avneet shared the video on Instagram, writing, “And we made history last night at the Cannes Red Carpet! “#Cannes2024 #CannesFilmFestival #AvneetInCannes #CannesRedCarpet #LoveInVietnam.”
