MUZAFFARABAD–Ahmed Farhad, a poet from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, had his post-arrest bail plea rejected by the Muzaffarabad anti-terrorism court.
The court issued its decision on the bail plea, which was reserved on Monday, today (Tuesday).
After the arguments were completed, the court withheld its verdict.
Two days ago, the court ordered Ahmed Farhad’s medical examination on suspicion of poisoning.
On May 29, authorities in Islamabad announced the arrest of poet and journalist Ahmed Farhad, 15 days after he went missing.
