What Janhvi stated.
“It’s interesting how I was always afraid of losing my parents, even as a child. They would often travel late at night or for extended periods of time without me. Small things, like when they’re shopping at duty-free (airport stores) and I’m left with the nanny, I’m always thinking, ‘I don’t know if they’ll make the flight, I don’t know if they’ll come back home. Sometimes I’d go into their room to see whether they were there. It’s so odd. “There was this weird paranoia,” Janhvi explained.
When questioned if she still felt that way, Janhvi replied, “I’m not sure. Maybe. I don’t believe I am anxiously bonded to anyone right now. But, yes, there was significant paranoia. Which is ironic.” Janhvi also discussed how individuals do not spend enough time discussing how to care for their elderly parents. She stated that at this point in her life, she feels like an adult and views her father as a child. She claimed she is borderline obsessed with him.
Regarding Janhvi’s parents.
Janhvi was born in 1997 to actress Sridevi and film producer Boney Kapoor. She has a younger sister, Khushi Kapoor, who was born in 2000. Sridevi died in an accident days before Janhvi made her Bollywood debut in Shashank Khaitan’s 2018 romance drama Dhadak. She frequently discusses seeking external approval from the audience and reviewers because she never knew what her mother thought of her initial picture.
Janhvi will next appear in Mr & Mrs Mahi, Devara: Part 1, Ulajh, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, and Suriya’s next film, which will mark her Tamil debut. She’ll also make her Telugu debut in Devara. She last appeared in Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal, alongside Varun Dhawan, last year.
