ISLAMABAD-Some Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) attorneys attacked Khawar Manika, Bushra Bibi’s ex-husband, outside the Islamabad district and sessions court on Wednesday while Nikkah’s iddat case was being heard.
Khawar Manika appeared in court on Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi’s appeals against their convictions in Nikkah during the Iddat case.

After Khawa Manika left the courtroom, PTI lawyers threw bottles at him and attacked him with punches and knees.
Following that, Sessions Judge Shahrukh Arjmund submitted a letter to the Islamabad High Court (IHC) requesting that this matter be transferred to another court.

It is worth noting that the court was scheduled to announce the ruling on the case it reserved on May 23.
Senior Civil Judge Qudratullah slapped Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi with seven years in prison and a Rs500,000 punishment each in the case on February 3.

On February 23, Imran Khan and his spouse Bushra Bibi filed a case in Islamabad’s district and sessions court challenging the verdict.
