ISLAMABAD –Minister for Petroleum Musadik Malik announced on Monday that the Federal and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administrations have agreed to prioritize national matters over personal conflicts.
Musadik Malik told a private TV program that the federal and provincial governments must work together to address key national challenges like terrorism and power theft.
In response to a query, he stated that during our meeting with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s chief minister, we discussed a variety of national and provincial concerns. It was agreed that for national matters, the federation and provinces should unify and collaborate in the national interest,” he said.
He also emphasized Nawaz Sharif’s importance in the political landscape, claiming that his return as president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will benefit both the party and the country.
Nawaz Sharif is the party’s supremo. When asked about internal party dynamics, Malik stated that even Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif would be willing to leave if requested by Nawaz Sharif.
The minister stated that Nawaz Sharif would be chosen as PML-N president in the upcoming party election.
