LAHORE / PESHAWAR – Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and other PTI leaders of inciting the country through misinformation.
She criticized Barrister Saif and responded by claiming that the government would not permit the spread of propaganda.
She further added that other convicts expressed qualms about the facilities offered to the PTI founder, and that the court had authorized daily meetings for Imran Khan, a prisoner charged with major offenses.
She also recounted the injustice done to the PML-N supremo, claiming that Nawaz Sharif was barred from meeting in Kot Lakhpat and Adiala jails for weeks.
PML-N leader Azma Bukhari regretted that Imran Khan was not fighting for the country.
She criticized Imran Khan’s words, claiming that prison had left him mentally disturbed.
She mocked Imran Khan, saying, “Avoid daydreaming about the PM’s house and travels on government helicopters.”
Maryam cannot damage Imran Khan: Barrister Saif
Barrister Saif, KP Information Adviser, stated on Friday that Maryam Nawaz’s hamhanded attempts cannot affect Imran Khan.
Barrister Saif responded to the Punjab cabinet’s acceptance of legal action against Imran Khan, claiming that Imran Khan was getting on the nerves of Maryam Nawaz and her father, Nawaz Sharif.
He claimed that the incumbent administration, which was formed based on Form 47 fabricated and fraudulent poll results, was frightened of Imran Khan.
Barrister Saif praised Imran Khan’s bravery in confronting legal challenges and chastised Nawaz Sharif, saying, “Imran Khan will not escape to London making excuses about platelets.”
He went on to say that Maryam Nawaz’s poor efforts will not help her compete with former Prime Minister Khan. He claimed that the PTI was strong, and Imran Khan was fighting legal fights and jail on behalf of the nation.
