“There was a phase in my life where I held this grudge against one and now, I want to call it quits and leave that grudge behind- and that’s Honey Singh” , stated Badshah.
“I was upset because of a misunderstanding, but when we were together, I realized, ‘jodne waale bahut kam the, todneh waale bahut the’. Today, I just wanted to let everyone know that I’ve moved on from that phase, and I wish him the best,” he added.
Singh, 41, has yet to comment on Badshah’s remarks.
Badshah and Singh are among the country’s best rappers, with a large fan base. The two performers first collaborated as part of the rap group Mafia Mundeer, which also featured Ikka, Lil Golu, and Raftaar.
The band released numerous hit songs, including ‘Khol Botal’, ‘Begani Naar Buri’, and ‘Delhi ke Deewane’.
Following a public spat, the two parted ways and frequently took potshots at each other on social media.
