A Los Angeles judge has ordered Angelina Jolie to submit all NDAs from the previous eight years in her continuing litigation with Brad Pitt over their French vineyard.
All NDAs signed by Angelina Jolie in the last eight years would be presented as evidence in the current civil case between her and Brad Pitt over their Château, fine wine, and vineyard in France.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered Jolie to turn up “all non-privileged documents in her possession, custody, or control that are responsive to” Pitt’s legal team’s request.
This includes any non-disclosure agreements the ‘Maleficent’ star has signed. The judge has granted Jolie one month to comply with the ruling.
Pitt’s side argues that Jolie has no incentive to publicize these agreements.

Pitt’s team calls the ruling a ‘crushing blow’.
A source in Pitt’s camp described the verdict as a “crushing blow” to Jolie, who had previously claimed that honoring such a request would be “expensive,” “wasteful,” “unreasonable,” and “abusive.”
Jolie’s lawyers had proceeded to claim that the revealing of the NDAs violates the privacy element of other individuals involved.
Now, Jolie’s team is scheduled to produce a list of documents they believe are private, allowing Pitt’s attorneys to “evaluate the merits of Jolie’s assertions of privilege.”
Earlier this year, the ‘Bullet Train’ star’s lawyers inquired about the amount of NDAs Jolie had staff members sign. This came after Jolie claimed that Pitt was seeking to assert control over her through a “overreaching” arrangement.

According to Jolie’s pleadings, Pitt asked that she sign a particularly “onerous” and “expansive” NDA, which would cover his “personal misconduct,” regardless of its relevance to Miraval, in exchange for selling her half of the vineyard to him.
The agreement for Jolie to sell her portion of Château Miraval to Pitt finally failed.
Jolie claims in legal documents that the breakdown occurred as a result of the NDA’s unreasonable provisions. She also sold her shareholding to a subsidiary of the Stoli Group.
However, Jolie’s attorney, Paul Murphy, characterized the LA court’s decision as a victory for their side. “Common NDAs are simply not comparable to Mr. Pitt’s last second demand to cover up his personal misconduct,” Murphy stated. We are delighted to turn them over, and we are pleased that the Court recognized that the only conceivable relevance is to the unconscionability of Mr. Pitt’s behavior, which has now been confirmed as a major issue in this case.”
