The hype around the second installment of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa, dubbed Pushpa 2: The Rule, is unsurpassed. On Thursday, the producers released a teaser for the film’s second single. The song will include both Srivalli (Rashmika Mandanna) and her Saami (Pushpa Raj, aka Allu Arjun). The song will be available on May 29, and Pushpa 2 will be released on August 15, 2024. Pushpa 2 The Rule, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, has not been postponed, according to the film’s team.

The new song promises to be another catchy track just like Saami Saami from the first installment, Pushpa: The Rise (2021). Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), Pushpa makers, Mythri Movie Makers, wrote, “The couple song announcement video.” On YouTube, the makers said, “Get ready to witness the true ‘Sooseki’! Rashmika is coming with a dance step! Song releasing on 29th May 2024. Stay tuned!”
The film’s first track, Pushpa Pushpa, was recently released in six different languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali. Pushpa Raj, also known as Allu Arjun, dances in flair while holding a glass of tea in one hand.
The video concludes with Pushpa’s legendary remark ‘Jhukega nahi (won’t bow down)’ and his shoulder shrug. Devi Shri Prasad, the music director who received a National Award for Pushpa 1: The Rise, has developed new compositions for Pushpa 2.

Pushpa: The Rise premiered in December 2021, and fans have been waiting for the sequel ever since. Allu Arjun, the film’s primary lead, won a National Film Award in 2023 for his performance in the 2021 film.
The opening half of Pushpa featured power struggles set against a backdrop of red sandalwood smuggling. Sukumar directed it. Pushpa 2 will have Arjun, Rashmika, and Fahadh Faasil reprising their roles as Pushpa Raj, Srivalli, and Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. The film will be released in Telugu as well as other south Indian languages and Hindi.
