According to a new report in The Times of India, the actor went missing at the Delhi airport while on his way to Mumbai. His father has now filed a missing complaint. Jennifer from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah reacted to the sexual harassment case ruling, claiming Asit Modi owes her ₹30 lakh.

The report further states that Gurucharan did not return home. His father, Hargit Singh, submitted a missing complaint in Hindi, stating: “My son Gurucharan Singh, age 50, had left at 8:30 a.m. on April 22nd to go to Mumbai.” He traveled to the airport to catch a flight. He did not arrive in Mumbai, nor did he return home, and his phone is not traceable. He is mentally stable, and we had been looking for him, but suddenly he has gone missing.”

Gurucharan rose to prominence after playing Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah. He opted to leave the program a few years ago to spend more time with his family, particularly given his father’s health difficulties.
The show received public attention after performer Jennifer Mistry accused show producer Asit Modi of sexual harassment and filed a FIR against him last year. Jennifer claimed that Asit flirted with her and’made sexual advances’ on several occasions. Last month, the matter was eventually decided in Jennifer’s favor. Asit was sentenced to pay ₹5 lakh as compensation and clear her outstanding dues.
