Punjab Assembly to follow National Assembly’s question interval style

LAHORE – On Tuesday, the Punjab Assembly made a big move by adopting the National Assembly’s question interval format.

Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan recommended the topic for approval in the House, and it gained full support. However, one member, Samiullah Khan, proposed forming a committee to ensure practical execution via official rule modifications.

The speaker, Ahmad Khan, also commented on the Iranian President’s recent visit, emphasizing the good influence on bilateral relations.

Meanwhile, the speaker complimented the calm conduct of recent by-elections, as well as the ruling party’s triumph. The speaker mentioned the absence of government officials at pre-budget meetings.
