Oshin Brar, the woman in the recent viral Diljit Dosanjh images, has stated that’someone didn’t want’ her to collaborate with the Punjabi singer-actor again.
Recently, images of Diljit Dosanjh with his supposed ‘wife’ surfaced online. However, it was later revealed that the photos were not of Diljit’s wife, but of his co-star, Oshin Brar. Oshin and Diljit collaborated in the 2015 film Mukhtiar Chadha. Now, in an interview with The Indian Express, Oshin, whose images went viral as Diljit’s ‘wife’, has said that’someone’ did not want her to work with him again. This is Oshin, she said.
She told the site, “I think someone didn’t want me to do the movie promotions (for Mukhtiar Chadha) with him, even though I was the lead in the film, and then someone didn’t want me to work with him ever again.” I’m still unsure about this behaviour and calls. It could be because I was only 19 and did both of my debut projects with him (Diljit). To be honest, it doesn’t matter to me; I’m not looking for fame. I had a wonderful time working with him. I was just 19, and he helped me a lot during the filming to grasp the movie role, and I don’t think he changed at all. He handled the entire cast with affection and respect.”
Oshin also discussed the images of herself and Diljit that generated rumors that the two were married. Rejecting all supposition, she stated, “I have no idea why people thought I was his wife.”

A few days ago, a supposed statement from the actor appeared on Reddit. It read: “Hello, buddies. I used to be a model and participated in a music video shoot called Shoon Shaan for the film Mukhtiar Chadha, which starred Diljit Dosanjh. Since then, friends and relatives have informed me that my photograph is being used maliciously on the internet as “Diljit Dosanjh’s wife”. I initially laughed it off because I had no idea how this happened, but I did make some take-down requests on YouTube and Quora. I never imagined the image would be so prevalent for so many years.”
It said, “This news continues to go viral every now and again, and here we are again, with my image recently appearing on a number of TikTok and Instagram posts. I just wanted to clarify that this picture is of myself, not Sandeep Kaur. I do not want to dox myself any further. If you could all do me a favor and see this image in the wild, please report or comment so that the public knows it is not his wife. I am not aiming for internet stardom or anything like that.
