ISLAMABAD – Ali Nasir Rizvi, DIG Operations Lahore, has taken over as Inspector General (IG) of Islamabad.
Rizvi, the newly appointed Inspector General of Islamabad, came at the police headquarters and was greeted warmly.
Before officially taking over his duties, IG Islamabad paid tribute to the Martyrs Memorial.
Ali Nasir Rizvi underlined that battling criminal groups in Islamabad is his top responsibility. It is worth noting that Rizvi was appointed Inspector General (IG) of Islamabad on March 30.
Meanwhile, Faisal Kamran was appointed as DIG Operations Lahore.
Following the departure of Ali Nasir Rizvi, Faisal Kamran takes over as DIG Operations Lahore.
Kamran, who started his career as an ASP in 2009, has worked in a variety of roles, including ASP in Gulbahar and University Tower, as well as SP in Peshawar.
Muhammad Faisal served in the Prime Minister’s Office for 15 years. In Lahore, he worked as an SP Security, Mobiles, and Anti-Riot Force officer. He also worked as SSP Rawalpindi and DPO Sialkot and Sargodha. Throughout his career, he was assigned four times as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD).
