Alia Bhatt to host her first charity gala in London tomorrow; here’s everything you need to know

Alia Bhatt will headline the Hope Gala in London. The event will reportedly be attended by prominent businesspeople and benefactors from India and the United Kingdom.

Alia Bhatt is giving a gala! The actor, producer, and entrepreneur is preparing to hold her first Hope Gala in London.According to a source close to her team, Alia will organize the event on March 28 in cooperation with the Mandarin Oriental hotel group at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park in London. About the Charity Gala
This is in support of Alia’s chosen charity, Salaam Bombay, which works with Mumbai’s most vulnerable ‘at-risk’ children through in-school programs (leadership and advocacy) and after-school academies (skill building) to boost their confidence, self-esteem, and commitment to staying in school. According to reports, the dinner would be attended by prominent businesspeople and philanthropists from India and London.

Alia Bhatt’s newest projects:
Alia just finished shooting for Jigra, which also stars Vedang Raina. She announced the wrap a few days ago on Instagram, sharing candid photographs from the film’s sets showing herself and Vedang. The film will release in theaters in September 2024.

Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala, is a co-production between Karan Johar and Alia herself. Vasan has previously directed films like Monica O My Darling, Peddlers, and Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. Jigra is Alia and Vasan’s first onscreen collaboration.

Jigra was announced last September. According to the announcement trailer, the film is about a sister’s love for her brother and her willingness to do anything to protect him.

Alia will reportedly appear in filmmaker Farhan Akhtar’s film Jee Le Zaraa, alongside Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif. The film promises to be another story of friendship in the vein of Dil Chahta Hai and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. However, work on the film has not yet begun.
